What do they mean?

brave勇敢adjective（比較級braver，最高級bravest）；敢於面對；挑戰verb

用作形容詞時，brave強調“無所畏懼”；用作動詞時，它強調“勇敢從事或面對某事”。

• Sally was not brave enough to pick up the large spider.
